Fawn Mckay
Fawn MCK Brodie was born on the 15th of September 1915 in Ogden Utah. Fawn McKay, raised in the Mormon Church's First Family utilized her writing talent as well as skills in researching to produce the intriguing biographical psycho-historical study of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945, under the name"No Man is a Master of My History, she used both. This title is taken from the funeral sermon of Joseph Smith, founder of The Church of Latter-Day Saints. His audience was shocked by his declaring: "You don't even know my name. You have never known the depths of my soul." My story is not known to any one. It's impossible to tell. Fawn, 29 years old, wrote Fawn is taking on the mantle of writing since that day. Some have deified and abused his character, whereas others have attempted to diagnose the cause. It isn't the case that there's not enough documentation but rather they are wildly contradictory. It is a matter of separating the firsthand evidence from the third-party plagiarism and fitting Mormon-and non-Mormon-narratives into a cohesive mosaic of reliable historical facts. This is exciting as well as instructive. FawnBrodie dedicated herself to this profession. The fruits of her research and writing made her immortalized with the world's attention: Thaddeus Stevens. "The Devil's Road" (1959) The Slaughter of the South. Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon and An Intimate historical history (1974).
