Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Half English mixed with Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. His father was an Argentine who is of Scottish as well as English heritage. The mother of her is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's previous marriage. The family is initially of Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria when Taylor-Joy turned 6. According to Taylor-Joy, this move was traumatic and she refused to master English in the hopes of returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend after she left Northlands. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in shows. When she was 16 she left school to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy's dream to become an actor started when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first one to hire her as an experienced model.
