Lisa Edelstein has been an American actor for more than twenty years. Most well-known is for her part in House in the series House on Fox. Her family was from Wayne and was raised in a strict Jewish tradition. As a teenager, 18, she emigrated into New York City to study at the Tisch School for the Arts. The school quickly became a fixture in the New York club scene. Her performances were so captivating that the local press took note. Her first gig was at MTV as the host of Awake on The Wild Side shortly after. The actress began appearing in television and film shows after the show ended.
