Salma Hayek
Salma Hayek is a Mexican-American actor, born to a Spanish-Lebanese parents. She grew up in an extremely wealthy Roman Catholic family from Mexico. In her early years, she watched the girl, the movie "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory' caught her attention. Following her studies at Mexico City's "Universidad Iberoamericana," the actress felt prepared to enter the industry of film. It was her first part in the Mexican television show "Teresa." When she moved to Hollywood her role was to be as the role of Antonio Banderas in the movie "Desperado.' Others roles followed, such as "Fools rushing In" and Wild Wild West.' In 'Once Upon a Time in Mexico in which she was back, she played the character of "Desperado.' She later founded her own production firm called Ventanarosa. Her first film was the Mexican "El Coronel No Teiene Quien Le Escriba. The film was Mexico's official entry to the Oscars in the category of 'Best Foreign Film. The film was also her executive producer of 'Ugly Betty.' The 60th Primetime Emmy Awards nominated her for "Outstanding Actress in Comedy Series" in the role as Sofia Reyes. The actress has also been a spokesperson for brands such as 'Revlon' or 'Avon which is why she has created her own brand of cosmetics, skincare and hair products dubbed Nuance.' She also raised money for vaccines to prevent newborn or maternal tetanus.
